Your answer was correct. You still lost 2 of 5.
ICAI marks step by step — the section, the test, the working note, the conclusion. KRAMO marks your answer the same way, against ICAI’s published Suggested Answers, and shows you every step you earned and every step you didn’t.

What you get inside KRAMO
One study cabinet: ICAI-pattern questions, timed mock tests, and every written answer marked step by step — with the group aggregate tracked, not just the paper.
All 16 ICAI papers
Foundation, Intermediate and Final, under the New Scheme.
Step-by-step marks
Every step earned or missed, with the reason and the fix.
Against Suggested Answers
Marked to ICAI’s own published guidance for that paper.
Sun Ltd, a registered manufacturer, buys a 7-seater car (approved seating capacity 7, including the driver) for the travel of its senior management. Advise whether input tax credit is available under the CGST Act.
Your written answerYour conclusion is right — and you still lost 2 of 5. The section, the seating-capacity test, the exceptions, then the conclusion: skip two steps and the marks go, however correct the ending.
AI tutor on tap
Ask why a step was missed and get the working, on that question.
Group aggregate tracked
40 in each and 50% together — followed paper by paper.
Questions & timed mocks
ICAI-pattern questions and full 3-hour mocks at exam pace.
You don’t lose marks because you didn’t know it
You lose them between the steps. ICAI awards marks for the section you cite, the test you apply, the working note you show and the conclusion you commit to — and gives partial credit for the right method even when the final figure is wrong.
Write your answer
A real exam-pattern question, answered the way you would in the hall — typed, or photographed off your own paper.
KRAMO marks the steps
Each step is earned or missed, with the reason. Working notes, format and the conclusion count, exactly as they do in the exam.
See the gap
Against ICAI’s published Suggested Answers for that paper. Fix the step, write it again — in seconds, not days.
Write → see the gap → fix the step → write again.
You passed two papers. You still lost the group.
CA is cleared by group: 40 in every paper and 50% in aggregate. Put in what you expect and see what the last paper actually has to carry.
Leave a paper blank to see what it needs to carry. Marks out of 100 each; Foundation Papers 3 and 4 are objective. This is the ICAI passing rule, not a prediction — it does not account for exemptions carried from an earlier attempt.

We are not the only AI that marks CA answers, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Where we think we are different: the group aggregate is tracked alongside the paper, and the tutor sits on the same question you just lost marks on. Competitor prices are indicative public rates, approximate, and change.
ICAI publishes the ideal answer. Not your distance from it.
After every session ICAI puts out Suggested Answers and Examiners’ Comments — the full picture of how the marks were meant to be awarded. What comes back to you is one number per paper.
Verification under Regulation 39(4) checks three things:
It is not a second reading of your answer. That is the whole reason a resit can feel blind: you know what the ideal answer looked like, and you never find out where yours went a different way.
KRAMO closes that loop before the exam, not after the result. You write, it marks against the same published guidance, and the gap is visible while you can still do something about it.
KRAMO does not and cannot get marks re-checked, re-evaluated or appealed — nobody can, under Reg 39(4). Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something that does not exist.
Good to know
How does the marking work?
You write an answer to an exam-pattern question. KRAMO marks it the way ICAI marks — step by step, against the Suggested Answers and Examiners’ Comments ICAI publishes after each session — and returns the marks earned per step, the steps missed, and what to change. Working notes, format and the conclusion are marked, because in the exam they carry marks too.
Can you get my marks re-checked?
No — and be careful with anyone who says they can. Under Regulation 39(4) ICAI verifies whether a question was left unmarked, whether the step-wise marks were totalled correctly and whether they were carried forward correctly. It is not a second reading of your answer, and no third party can make it one. KRAMO is for before the exam, not after the result.
How accurate is it?
Every mark is tied to ICAI’s published Suggested Answers and Examiners’ Comments for that paper, so the breakdown follows how the marks were meant to be awarded. It is still a study aid, not your result: a real examiner may read a borderline step differently. Where we are confident is the part that costs most people marks — the step you skipped, the section you did not cite, the working note you did not link. Start on the free plan and judge it on your own answers before paying anything.
Why not just use ChatGPT?
Generic AI is not tuned to how ICAI awards marks, so it grades on a hunch and never shows the step-wise split that decides your result. It does not know that Financial Reporting wants the Ind AS cited, that Direct Tax wants the section number, or that a right figure without the working note is a right figure with fewer marks.
Aren’t there other AI checkers now?
Yes, and we say so in the comparison above rather than hoping you do not notice. Marking a CA answer with AI is no longer rare. What we build around is the thing the paper-level tools skip: CA is cleared by group, so KRAMO tracks the aggregate alongside each paper, and the tutor sits on the same question you just lost marks on. Try both. The free plan exists so that costs you nothing.
Can I write my answers in Hindi?
Right now KRAMO marks in English. If you write in Hindi or in a mix, say so when you sign up — that is what decides whether Hindi marking is next. We would rather tell you the truth than take your money for something we have not tested.
Where do the questions come from?
Questions are written to the current ICAI syllabus and exam pattern under the New Scheme and updated each attempt. KRAMO is independent and does not reproduce ICAI’s copyrighted question papers or marking schemes; marking follows the Suggested Answers and Examiners’ Comments ICAI publishes openly.
Is this official ICAI?
No. KRAMO is an independent study tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by ICAI. You register for and sit the exams with ICAI directly.
